FreeTime US Pre-Order Bonuses Revealed:
TheSims2.com has updated with details of what bonus you lot over the other side
of the Atlantic Ocean can get for pre-ordering The Sims 2 FreeTime from selected
retailers. If you pre-order from WalMart you'll get the Collector's Classics
model shelf in-game item. Prefer to pre-order from GameStop? Then your bonus
in-game item will be the Get Fit Kit, which seems to be a pair of shorts and/or
a T-shirt. If you choose the EA Store or Amazon.com, you'll get the Prima
Ballerina Poster.
WalMart have posted the e-mail they're supposed to send when you pre-order
(again), telling you how to get the bonus item. I've quoted it below:
Thank You for Pre-Ordering The Sims FreeTime! To download the exclusive
Collector?s Classics item go to www.TheSims2.com/modelshelf, enter your
unique code found in the box below, and follow the onscreen instructions.

FreeTime Hobby Magazines:

hobbies. The first article consists of an "interview" with a Sim who has
recently restored a car. There are new screenshots too.

New Poll: This month, I want to know whether you're buying The
Sims 2 Bon Voyage. Maybe you already have? Maybe you're going to soon? Maybe
you're just never going to get it? Maybe you've been put off amidst all
these SucuROM problems? "Wait, what?" you may be asking - well, this latest
expansion pack uses different piracy protection software than previous ones,
and this is causing problems for some users. You may want to have a look
at the official forum linked below, where you can read about what problems
people have been having, as well as EA and Sony DADC's (the software's creator)
official statement and FAQ. What I've read so far has certainly put me off
for the moment! When you're done reading, don't forget to return here and

Bonuses for US Pre-orders of Teen Fashion
Stuff: As usual, If you pre-order the latest stuff pack from certain
retailers, you'll get a special bonus download, a different one depending
on the retailer you choose. So, if you pre-order the pack from WalMart,
you'll get a special tee-shirt. If you pre-order from GameStop instead,
you'll get an exclusive download sculpture. If you decide to pre-order from
Amazon.com, you'll get a stuffed giraffe. Oddly, the page on WallMart's
site seems to be displaying the email you should receive if you pre-order
as part of the description, giving you the instructions on where to go to
get the item, and the redemption code, which is RETENKJM. The web address
linked below doesn't work yet, but come release day, you might be able to
get the special tee-shirt without pre-ordering! Lets just hope the redemption
code isn't changed...

Next Stuff Pack Announced - Teen Style Stuff:
The official websites have updated with information and screenshots of the
latest stuff pack, The Sims 2 Teen Style Stuff. This pack is obviously all
about teen Sims and includes 'three distinct themes "Goth," "Thrasher,"
and "Socialite"'.

Bon Voyage - New screenshots, North American
ship date: EA have released four more screenshots of the next The
Sims 2 expansion pack, Bon Voyage. Additionally, the ship date for North
America has been revealed as September 5th. Expect the release date for
other territories to be around then too.
