There's quite a lot of news considering the last issue was less than a week ago, including a new Pets trailer and preview, another parody video and more
GameSpot has posted an “Updated Preview” of The Sims 3 Pets:
Outside of the charming town, you’ll find oversized billboards, dinosaur bones, and a potential tourist hot spot once the game is complete. Because horses are the big addition to this expansion, you’ll likely want to spend your time on the flood plains riding horses and perhaps even taking them over to the equestrian center so you can take part in competitions or even get into horse breeding.
GamersHell.com has got hold of the latest in EA’s series of parody videos — this time it’s The Inbetweeners, a UK sitcom which is just about to hit the big screen:
Following on from the
Hidden Springs live broadcast on Friday (see further down if you
missed it), EA has announced
another one – this time with a bit more notice. On Saturday producer
Graham Nardone will be at Gamescom and he’ll present an in-game demo
of The Sims 3 Pets and answer some viewers’ questions, plus there’ll
be “a never-been-seen surprise that you’ll definitely not want to
miss”. The broadcast will also feature some stuff about the console
versions but the PC expansion pack appears to be the focus. The
times given are 1:30pm CET, 7:30am ET and 4:30am PT, which I think
means it’ll take place at 12:30 pm BST. Go to the page linked below

EA has released a proper trailer specifically for the PC and Mac version of The Sims 3 Pets, with proper Simlish music and everything:
As you will have seen, the trailer confirms the expansion will feature unicorns – will we find out more about them in the live broadcast on Saturday?
