EA has announced a “The Sims 3 Pets Digital Town Hall”. It will take place on Thursday 22nd September between 9 am and 2 pm. Which time zone? It doesn’t say, but most previous events have been given in Pacific Time, and if that’s the case here, then I think that means it’s between 5 pm and 10 pm BST. Anyway, what’s it actually about? Join us as we unveil secrets and exclusive reveals of The Sims 3 Pets! Producers from The Sims 3 Pets on PC, Xbox 360, PS3, and Nintendo 3DS will present live demos of the game across these platforms. Tune in to find out what tricks we have up our sleeves (or paws) and for your chance to receive some treats as part of our random giveaways.
It sounds like it’ll be like the previous live broadcasts then,
except instead of you only being able to ask questions in text form
during the event, you can submit questions in both text and video
form in advance, with chosen video questions being played out and
answered during the broadcast. To ask a question, go to TheSims's
YouTube channel, type your question then enter your location and
press submit. To ask your question in video, first you need to
upload a video to YouTube, then go through the same procedure as
with a text question but remembering to paste the address of your
video in the appropriate text box. You can also post text questions
on the Facebook event page. On YouTube, you can also vote for which
questions you want answered, or indeed which questions you don’t
want answered, by going through the questions and clicking the
thumbs up or thumbs down icons.
