GamesRadar has posted a gallery article about Winter in The Sims 3 Seasons featuring an interview with assistant producer Graham Nardone:
GR: What can you tell us about Snowflake Day?Graham Nardone: Snowflake Day is a new holiday that Sims enjoy at the end of winter every year. All Sims feel the holiday cheer on this special day, and they love going to the festival to socialize with their friends and neighbors over a cup of hot chocolate or eggnog.
The Sims 3 Seasons producer Graham Nardone has posted a blog entry on TheSims3.com detailing winter:
Certainly the most apparent change when winter arrives in Seasons is just how different the world around you appears. By that time, the trees in the world will have shed all their leaves to give a somewhat barren look to parts of your town. You’ll also notice less daylight, as the sun will peek over the horizon later in the morning and set in the early afternoon, causing temperatures to plunge.

A blog entry by Assistant Producer Mike Zamora detailing Spooky Day in The Sims 3 Seasons has been posted on TheSims3.com:
We’ve added four new parties to this pack but there’s one that’s closely tied to the fall season and Spooky Day which are costume parties. With so many fun, new activities to do in fall there’s a chance that you may forget to throw your own party. Don’t worry because there’s usually something going on in town. If you’re lucky you might be invited to a neighbor’s costume party. Accept the invite and go but it’s never too late to arrange your own Spooky Day themed get-together.
Another live broadcast for The Sims 3 Seasons has been announced, and it also features The Sims 3 70s, 80s, & 90s Stuff:

The Sims 3 Producer Graham Nardone has posted answers to some The Sims 3 Seasons questions on TheSims3.com’s forum:
36. Can you tell me what Sims do on Love Day? I know there is the festival but can we expect our Sims will be doing other things and is there any new romantic outfits for Love Day? Naturally, love day is filled with romantic moments for the Sims. They’ll actively want to be with their special someone, and everyone’s a little more receptive to romantic advances. Going to the festival even further enhances the spirit of the holiday, as you can kiss other Sims at the kissing booth, use the love tester machine to gauge your couple’s compatibility, and it’s the same day that the spring dance king and queen get crowned!
