The first The Sims 3 Seasons review has arrived – GameZone has rated it an “Amazing” 9.0 out of 10:
Overall, The Sims 3 Seasons is one of the best expansions the game has received in quite a while. The simple addition of weather adds a breath of fresh air into the now three-year-old game. The only problem is now that we have seasons, where does EA go from here?

The Sims 3 Seasons producer Mike Zamora has posted a blog entry on TheSims3.com discussing holidays, with a focus on Snowflake Day:
A holiday is a special day designated in each season where Sims in your town are given the day off from work or school to relax, have fun and celebrate. There’s a total of four holidays in the game: Leisure Day, Spooky Day, Snowflake Day and Love Day, each presenting a seasonally specific theme. When this special day finally arrives, moodlets will appear on your Sims that drive unique behavior. The festival grounds will also draw more visitors, creating a party-like atmosphere at the center of your town.

fun in the snow, a spring festival, a very autumnal scene and more —
