There's been a few more The Sims 3 Seasons reviews since last issue. The first one comes from NZGamer.com, who rated it a “Good” 7.7 out of 10:
Even if you’ve played it to death already, the simple application of weather and seasonal content guarantees plenty more mileage from the original game. A good stocking filler for the fans.

Game Chronicles HD rated it four out of five:
Still, this add-on undoubtedly infuses a three-year-old game with new life, and it’s, by far, the strongest of the eight. At a suggested retail price of $39.99, The Sims 3 Seasons is one of the pricier expansion packs, but it’s hard to imagine a Sims 3 fan missing out on this one, even with its foibles.

Girl Gamers UK rated it 8.5 out of 10:
While the vast majority of the gameplay remains the same, the fact that Sims are affected by different environmental factors adds a new dynamic to the game, and the new festivals bring activities that change with the seasons. The Sims 3 Seasons is a ‘must buy’ expansion for the evergrowing series and will change the life of your Sim.

Game Revolution rated it 3.5 out of five:
In short, this expansion falls slightly short of how interesting and deeply embedded the Supernatural expansion was. That said, Seasons supplies a depth to what can feel like an endless sunny crawl of hours and minutes in The Sims 3. For that, the change of pace is well worth the price of admission.

Tech-Gaming gave it a B grade:
After a few decidedly superfluous Sims Expansions and Stuff Packs, it’s gratifying to see the development back on track. For the most part, the changes in Seasons are satisfying, providing an entertaining swath of supplements which not only will remind gamers of Sims 3’s strengths, but also the natural magnificence of mother nature.

Finally GamesRadar gave it a “Great” four stars out of five:
Despite those few issues, The Sims 3: Seasons is the strongest expansion yet. Whether you’ve been playing consistently for three years or your Sims have been long abandoned, this expansion makes the game feel new again.

Metacritic now has enough reviews to give a Metascore, which currently stands at 75, “Generally favorable reviews”, based on six reviews.
