Latest Seasons Reviews

Two more The Sims 3 Seasons reviews this time. First is Gaming Blend, who rated it four stars out of five:

Like I said, it’s not a game-changer in that it doesn’t  add a substantial amount of additional game-play beyond visiting the festival. But it’s one of the most fun and  picturesque expansion packs to join the collection for  The Sims 3, which makes it a nice refresher to a game  that’s been around for more than three years.

Second is Gaming Nexus, who rated it an “Excellent” nine out of 10:

The Sims 3 Seasons is an impressive expansion pack that  provides a variety of both gameplay improvements and new  content. Each of the four seasons and various weather  types result in a more dynamic and engaging gameplay  experience that’s perfect for both Sims enthusiasts and  newcomers to the series.

During This Fortnight: 2009
A decade was coming to an end, so it was a fitting time for GamesRadar to name what it thinks were the best new characters of the decade. In amongst characters from the Halo, Grand Theft Auto and The Legend of Zelda series was the "Sim". Meanwhile Wired.com named the original The Sims the most influential game of the decade, beating such games as Portal and World of Warcraft.

It was also the end of a year of course, the year in which The Sims 3 was released, and that game won a couple of year-end awards, including GameSpot's Best Strategy Game and PETA's Most Animal-Friendly Game.
