It’s been more than a month since the first The Sims 3 University Life review was posted, so now is a good time to wrap-up my reviews coverage. As usual, this means seeing how it compares to previous expansion packs through the medium of Metacritic and GameRankings.

The Metascore at Metacritic stands at 74, “Mixed or average reviews”, based on eight reviews. This is the same ‘score attained by Supernatural, Late Night and Ambitions, and higher than that attained by Seasons (73), Showtime (67) and Generations (70).

Comparing to The Sims 2 expansion packs, Bon Voyage and FreeTime have the same ‘score, while all the others are higher.

EA has now released the “announce” trailer for The Sims 3 Island Paradise – months after it was announced. And here it is:

After more than nine years, this is the end of me covering The Sims games on the internet -- Danny's The Sims Website will no longer be updated, making this the last News Email. Tomorrow I start a new full time job -- keeping this website up-to-date will make it even more of a struggle than it already will be to do everything I want to do. If there is anyone out there who's been following my news updates, I'm sorry about this, and hope you find an alternative source for your news fix.
