First Late Night Reviews:, IGN

The first The Sims 3 Late Night reviews have gone live on the internet, prompting my reviews coverage to begin. Every day that I come across one or more new reviews, I’ll post about it/them here. If once a day isn’t frequent enough for you though, note that I’ll post reviews to the dedicated Late Night Reviews tab as soon as I find out about them (these changes will of course be mentioned on the Updates page).

Anyway, the first review is from, who graded it B:

When compared to the already-available expansion packs for The Sims 3 (Ambitions and World Adventures), Late Night is easily the best of the three. The expansion’s celebrity status factor finally gives your sims characters a good reason to leave the house that isn’t work related and it enhances the virual [sic] social aspects of the base game.

The second and final review I’ve got for you today comes courtesy of IGN, who gave it a “Good” 7.5 out of 10 (and seem to think it’s called Night Life – not the first time I’ve seen it called that):

The expansion packs that have been released so far for The Sims 3 have been meatier than expansions from the previous iterations of the franchise, and Night Life [sic] continues the tradition. It really raises the bar for what we expect out of a Sims expansion, and even though this one is coming only four months after the last one (instead of the usual six to eight months), it really holds its own.

The Ranking from GameRankings currently stands at 75.00% based on, well, IGN’s review. Metacritic don’t yet have the minimum four reviews to provide a Metascore.
