Meet Some Of The Sims 3 Development Team In New Interviews

Wednesday 6th March 2013 | 6:06 pm UK time | Categories

Some interviews have been posted on allowing us to get to know some members of The Sims 3 development team:

If you could be any icon from the 70s, 80s or 90s, who would you be and why?
I’d have to go with Dan Marino. Growing up as a kid in Miami I could actually see Joe Robbie Stadium in the distance from my bedroom window, so it only stood to reason that I became a huge Miami Dolphins fan. There was no bigger name in Miami for a near 20-year span then “Dan the Man.”

Latest Live Broadcast Available To Watch On-Demand

Thursday 14th February 2013 | 9:03 pm UK time | Categories

Today’s The Sims 3 Live Broadcast is now available to watch on-demand. Included in the broadcast were demos of The Sims 3 Island Paradise (about seven and a half minutes in) and the latest The Sims 3 Store town Aurora Skies (about 33 minutes in), and a Q&A session for The Sims 3 University Life (about one hour three minutes in) — there was no demo due to technical difficulties but a separate live broadcast featuring one will take place soon instead.

(The broadcast starts about five minutes into the video.)

Poll Results: Do you watch the live broadcasts?

Tuesday 12th February 2013 | 5:45 pm UK time | Categories

I’ve just realised I completely forgot to close the poll, having promised to close it a week ago — it seems I forgot when I extended it to change the reminder event in my calendar. So if you’ve been waiting for the results, sorry about that. Anyway, I have now finally received enough votes to close the poll so the results are now in. It seems the majority of you never bother watching live broadcasts, with absolutely no one trying to watch every one. See the full results in bar form by clicking below, then return here to comment on them. It there is anyone planning to watch the next one, don’t forget it’s this Thursday.

In the last live broadcast it was confirmed that three expansion packs would be released again this year, so the new poll asks you this: is this too much? Vote now to the right of any page, or click below to explain your vote. Those reading this via the RSS feed or mobile site can also vote without explanation by clicking below and using the form on the right. Assuming I’ve received enough votes by then (and not forgotten!), the poll will close on Tuesday 19th March with the results revealed then.
